The Emigrating Family of Elephantz

This painting is created in Expressionist style unique only to Tak Salmastyan Art. Expressionism is a general style of painting and is a vague term which describes any style of art which distorts reality to convey a heightened awareness or sensibility of the subject. Expressionist art does not seek to imitate or replicate nature and has no interest in the classical hierarchy of recording the visual truth: it is simply interested in expressing its feelings and emotions in paint.
