Landscape painting, or landscape art, is the picture representation of natural scenery such as mountains, valleys, trees, rivers, and forests. In landscape painting the main subject is a wide view, with its elements arranged into a logical composition. Sky is almost always included in the view, and the weather is often an element of the composition. As an independent genre it really emerged in the 17th century in the present-day Netherlands. Landscape paintings can be highly stylized. For More Click: Roaming in the Cities in Search for Window to Freedom
